Chapter 5-Ecstatic Morning

Another fresh Dawn marked john's window.The sweet sound of the birds made him awake. John Got up from his bed,and started singing along with a happy tone.John got ready for the school and started happily in his cycle that his dad gifted him the previous year on his 15th Birthday . Even though he started early he rushed to the school....the reason is that, he has to complete his maths home work, he never worked out any of the problems at home on his own.,either he use to copy it from Jones or Miller or from Laura..Though John was Elder to his classmates he looked very young that Laura always made fun of him,Laura has the habit of coming to class early,wait for Jonh to come and as soon as he enters the class,.she ll annoy him by Running towards him shouting "hey ma sweetheart has come".... "How are you,,darling ???? and she ll also terminate all the fellows surrounding John ..even though Jonh knew it was all jus for fun, he felt irritated , sometime he even felt that Laura is partially retarded, many a times John felt like running away from that class not because of teachers or his friends but because of Laura,he was actually afraid of Laura that she is slowly becoming Mad:Literally mad, he even discussed these stuffs with Jones and Miller... But as days passed by John understood the real gud heart of Laura .Infact the later half of the story reaveals how Lauras silent motivation helped in Jonh's success.

It was the Mid of the academic year,one fine day barbara was teaching Grammar, she also handled "Merchant of Venice",one of the finest work of Shakespeare. Since it was 15th century English & moreover John was poor in Language he couldnt follow it easily as other did ..., But Barbara instead of helping him, she insulted and humiliated him..But this time John didnt keep quite,he tried all possible ways to understand the subject..he is no more a Dumb creature to keep his mouth shut ..he openly challenged barbara "Excuse mam enough,just gimme some time and tomorrow i ll explain the entire scene"he said that with full confidence and with no concern ...Although he challenged he was outta of any idea of wat he has to do and wats going on with him -"First time in my life i'm challenging, i must do something ,i ll do it"said to himself but his conscious said to him "u idoit starting from 6th standard u r saying this but till date u have not even turned/recollected back what u have said" ...that time Miller & Erric suggested him "Renin Martin" a guide for English grammar...he borrowed one from the school library, the school librarian is an irish lady, to borrow a single book u have to explain the entire history of the incident ,geography of the location blablabla...she s actually a funny person, she is respected just because she is a librarian,or else the students would have Raged her ,she has mirthful face that resembles a cat with a pair of legs and hands,and the most funniest part is that she wears a queer costume that students named her "Pussy cat" , she 's also very much aware of it and if u want to make her violent nothing is required just a "MEawuuu"sound ll do..and students who is not interested in sitting inside the library often made this "Meaw""meawu" noise increase her temper and - u know wat happens ???? "Get out u goose, never show up to library again for any reference or something like that ,if i see u again i ll Kick your Bumps u rascals ,Now get lost" haha this is her ducky dialog ...that night Jonh started few pages with that book "Wow!!! This book is amazing man , How did i miss this ???" Exclaimed John.He enjoyed reading it...,But in this Joy, John failed to remember that he had challenged a Freaking lady who is waiting to cut his vein the next dawn

Even though he forgot Barbara didnt ....as soon as she entered she came John's ,stood next to his desk eagerly waiting for him to get ashamed and asked him "comeon man explain me, i m anxiously waiting for your explanation" ...But john stood up with a blank mind giving a funny look making himself stupid..the whole class was silent, that everyone was able to listen to Mr.Carters Voice ,who was teaching in the next class...Eagerness sank in everyones eyes,excluding Barbara and John ..."comeon John hurry up ,only after your explanation i have to continue the the rest of the scenes" For everyones expectation Slowly John opened his lips, sayin those words"sorry mam i didnt prepare" Shit this is'nt wat every one expected ,there comes the opportunity for Barbara to avenge John , he was standing in with a eager face ,like a "criminal who would gaze at the Judge for his final verdict"..likewise John was sentenced for imposition .."haha john needs this punishment"few students commented ,"Shit, u r a useless U damn rubbish u bloody as..non dssh ssshh..........." John scolded himself with all filthy words that john knows....Jones is alway a funny guy ,he too joined the group ...But John didnt let his frustration out...he silently practised his language...he started workin hard,hard in all aspects .

Few weeks later Laura found to be absent for the school,soon few students came rushing towards the class room sayin that Laura's Father passed away!! Mrs.Patricia was in the class then. She immediately called up John & Peter and asked them to follow her. She stepped down the stairs and took a straight walk to the staff room which was parallel to the Building where John's class room is located.Peter is a very good football player,also he was in the school football team, he seemed to be very mature than other in the class and hence Mrs.Patricia made him the class Leader.As John and peter made their way to the staff room Mrs.Particia Gave some money to buy a Garland, she also got permission from the principal for the students to attend the funeral, as soon John and peter entered the class ,the entire class left for the funeral. For the first time in John's life he visited a friends Hoz for a Funeral.Laura was wearing a Black chuddar When john faced Laura she was visibly shaken.Beads of tears ran down in rivulets on her face."Linda" one of the close friend of Laura was tryin to calm down laura , Laura huddled over Linda's shoulder, crying!!! "God be with the Gal ,For now i can only pray and i m now helpless"silently John prayed.Few days later Laura came to school as usual, with a sweet smile John and Joneswas the first one to c her entering the school ,to all of their surprise.She was cool and composed ,she didnt exhibit her sadness,her friends too were casual,eventhough they felt sympathetic they didnt expose it and Laura too didnt like people feeling so.

This time John understood the maturity Hidden in Laura.He almost understood her,but not completely .As days passed Laura and John became gud friends..she helped him a lot in his studies..
