Chapter 7-He Will Never Forget

"I gotta be more cautious now,i m in tenth standard now , already i have wasted my parents money and also a year in ma academics,so lemme do well this time " this was john's mentation forever,"i m an amateur in studies,lemme do something to bring out ma potential",he decides to approached his friend Miller and Laura:Both Laura and Miller is no more new to him,so they ll definitely help me ,hoping the same he approach them:As he desired they assisted him in all the ways they could.Slowly John started acquiring confidence,moreover he developed a great attraction towards Science the main reason behind is he had a great respect towards Mrs.Patricia who handled the subject,Also he found the subject interesting and simple too.the first term exam begun John was verymuch confident in fetching good marks ..the results came , for his anticipation he passed in all subjects except maths...But john never worried about that Bcoz he didnt put in any effort in maths,so he was aware that he'll flunk that ;but he had faith in him tat he ll pass the next time.John studied his everyday lessons then and there havin no back logs in his works .He never let any one answer in the class,before anyone could start he would have answered the question that has been posted.Almost for each and every dusk u can find John either in Laura's or Miller's place.Both of their family members too encouraged them in helping John. John felt that he was really blessed to have such a wonderful friends.It was the mid of september,almost 80% of the syllabus is over , john's mental attidude changed ,he started viewing things in a new dimention,his desire changed, he started aiming high,now his aim was not jus passing and to jus simply get some "n" rank,he wants to be the first, he desired to get high marks,high tat he should be the topper!! But will it be possible???

Everythin is possible if u strive hard to attain it...if this is true ! why not John can ???? John had another friend by name "Lucas"..he is a boarder joined this institution only a few months ago ,but he became very good friend of every one,usually Boarders ll stick people so easily since they dont have any other entertainment or company other than chatting with anyone they see in the school.He actually loved a girl named"Elina" she is not from John's class but she was in 'B' section.He never listen in the class and no one has ever seen him quitely or sincerly listening him in the class, he bypasses his class by sleepin in the class hours or during breaks .John was the one sitting next to him in the class,but slowly john started moving away from him,since he actually tried John fall in love with "Anna" one of the close friend of Laura and moreover Lucas know that Jones loved Elina..But John was very clear in his decision.Lucas tried all possible way to deviate Johns from his studies but ultimately he couldnt succeed. soon after a few months he fought with his hostel Warden and was terminated from the school for striking the hostel warden.

John was appreciated for his hardwork,except his maths teacher "Mrs.Jane" she always worried a lot about John.... her favourite dialog "u buffaloes, y the hell u idoits come and sit in 10th standard without knowing what is maths making us die teaching u maths" often she shoot up this dialog to John."But wat can i do ?? is there any guide like Renin martin to learn maths"????? John ever asked this question ..!!!" ohfff i guess for working out maths one must have something called brain" Some times john contradict himself,saying things like this. Like a wave which eagerly travels towards the shore promptly, The halfyearly exams were approaching him closely ..johns visit to the Laura's hoz rapidly increased..as he wished he acquired first mark in three subjects but this time too he miserably failed in maths...this increased everyones temper,everyone in the sense his teachers,his friends.his parents..but John was very much sure he ll pass in the final exam...whenever Johns maths teacher gets any free time she called up john and made him work out few of the easier problems that would help him to pass in the eximination.Meanwhile, john was badgered by few of his fello mates not to trust upon laura for she is not a very gud girl to trust upon.But John understood it was all because of pure envy on Laurs fame they say such things,but john never let things out to laura as he thought if he say what happened,it ll ultimately harm the good friendship between laura and those friends,moreover he did'nt want to ruin the harmony of the class .Everyone was given the hall ticked except few guys which included john,But why me??? outcried John.it was because of his maths teacher Mrs.Jane who barred the issue of hall ticked to john and many other among which moore s to be mentioned...it was the day before finals of ICC World cup 2003 almost she tried all sort of stuffs to make them pass, she even asked john and moore to copy the one words from someone in the exam so that they clear the paper ,"as if she is going to appear for exam ,she was so much worried that i could see the fear in mrs.Jane's eyes "..said john to moore. she was bit superstitious,that while concluding the final special class for them, said in the next days world cup finals between INDIA & AUSTRALIA ""if australia wins the world cup definitely ""we would get centum result...is tat a curse or a bless??? wondered John!!! the net day every one was unfeignedly preparing for public exams, even the top rankers , but John was seroiusly watching world cup finals Match to conform whether he ll pass in maths or not,since centum reflects john passin in maths,the match was goin serious,almost everyone prayed India should win the match was a dream game for india becoz nearly after two decades India qualifies for finals so it should win for sure ,but john exclusively prayed that australia should win the match,"yeah i know i m too selfish but centum means i m praying for others too" john uttered & contradicted to himself !!!the match almost attained its final tantrum...tension was flowing out of everyones eyes in the stadium...even john's too...his heart started pounding..

Will india loose ? if then will JOhn pass ????
